Award-Winning Gwich’in Artist Interviewed on Radio Free Kaslo

There aren’t many remote mountain villages in the world that boast their own radio show!

Happily, Kaslo is one of them.

On today’s RADIO FREE KASLO, broadcast by Nelson-based Kootenay Co-op Radio, host Randy Morse converses with award-winning Gwich’in Nation artist, Jeneen Frei Njootli, about her art and its linkages to her home and its threatened natural environment, on the day her exhibit, “snow, crust and sinew,” opens at Kaslo’s historic Langham Gallery.

Enjoy the podcast, and if you’re a guest here at the Sentinel, or travelling in the North Kootenay Lake region generally, don’t miss this thought-provoking exhibit by an incredibly talented artist.
