It’s October — the time of year when our beloved public broadcaster, Kootenay Co-op Radio, launches a new season!
We’re delighted to announce the Sentinel has teamed up with the Nelson-based station to sponsor Radio Free Kaslo, a long-running show produced right here in our backyard.
Featuring interviews, interesting perspectives, and plenty of music (for example today’s program presents a number of British Columbia bands and solo artists, many of whom you’ll likely hear for the first time), Radio Free Kaslo is broadcast live every Friday at 11 AM Pacific. The show is re-broadcast on Thursdays at 8 AM.
You can tune in at 93.5 FM in the Nelson area, 96.5 FM in Crawford Bay and Kaslo, 107.5 FM in New Denver, 101.5 FM in the Lower Slocan Valley, and online at www.kootenaycoopradio.com.
