This restorative retreat for Moms will focus on tools and strategies for understanding and beating parental burnout, improving self care, and strengthening the nervous system. Create a personalized burnout prevention plan and connect with other moms. You will be treated to a healthy and nourishing lunch and have a couple hours access to the spa (cedar sauna and hot tub and cold plunge) and luxuriate with a scenic view of the lake. All moms will receive a journal and small gift.

Itinerary:
10:00-12:00 am: Introduction and guided visualization. Information on understanding parental burnout, signs, symptoms, and tools. Guided journalling to explore burnout factors and mapping out your resources. Fun small group activity to connect with other moms. Deep guided relaxation activity for restoration and calm.
12:15-1:30: Nourishing and healthy lunch
1:30-3:00: Strategies for connection, communication and having more fun with your kids. Vagal toning exercises. Creating a personalized burnout prevention plan. Closing activity.
3:00-5:00: Spa time. Enjoy the Cedar finished wood stove sauna, copper cold plunge and hot tub overlooking Kootenay lake. Lounge in the main lodge, sunroom or explore the beach below. This is your free time to read, journal, meditate or socialize. Bath tubs also available. Please bring your own towels and bathing suits. Option to stay overnight can be booked separately, directly with the Sentinel.
